Roddick Series Kingwood Country Club Jr Open (Jr)

I was playing in the Roddick Series Kingwood Country Club Jr Open (Jr) on April 22, 2017. This was my first Green Ball division. My first match was versus Helaina Reynoso. We had met in previous tournament at Bay Area Racquet Club tournament, where she had won. However, I was fortunate to win my first match as a Green Ball Challenger versus Helaina with the final score 4-1; 4-1.

​My semifinal match was with the eventaul champion of the tournament, Naomi Osibajo. It was a challenging match for me every time I played Naomi. She is fierce competitor--her backhand was on fire! I lost with the score of 1-4; 2-4. Every time I played Naomi, I learn a lot. I'm sure Naomi and I will be meeting each other more often in the near future tournaments.
