 We were tire, but Angela Shu & I still posing for our medal photo ops. :) I am thrilled to say that I won this tournament, which was played at Willow Fork Country Club in Katy, TX. I got a bye in 16-round and won the quarters against Catherine Shen (4-1, 4-0), the semis against Olga Khodakova (4-0, 4-0) and the finals against Angela Shu (4-0, 4-1). I am glad to have ended this tournament on a winning note!
By the way, an onsite USTA referee commented on my service form: "You have a nice serve." I'm so happy and motivated to keep on improving my game. View draw here. |
